In place inclinometer laboratory testing
From May to December 2004, a comprehensive test programme has been carried out on eight different commercial versions of in-place inclinometers (IPI) at an independent testing laboratory in France: the LNE. The tested suppliers were Applied Geomechanics, Geokon, Glotzl, Interfels, Roctest, RST, Sisgeo, Slope Indicator.
Summary of the main results
This article brushes the surface of the first results that were obtained without mentioning names.
The tests have shown some large differences between the performance of the sensors from the various suppliers.
