Tunnels
SolData is involved during the construction of new tunnels or for the monitoring of existing buildings.
Construction of new tunnels:
We monitor from the surface, manually or in real time, the deformation of roads, service networks, structures and buildings, site hydrogeology, geotechnical parameters as well as noise and vibration.
In the tunnels, we measure convergence, recess, access shafts and lining deformation, ground stress and pressure. We collect and display tunnel boring machine parameters. We also carry out geophysical exploration, drilling deviation control measurements and other tests..
Monitoring of existing tunnels:
We monitor the stress and deformation of buildings, either to follow the evolution of their pathologies, or to observe their behaviour during the carrying out of nearby works. CYCLOPS is particularly well adapted to monitoring the parameters of ‘live’ tunnels where access to survey teams is difficult or impossible, such as railway tunnels. We also participate in structure diagnosis by performing radar readings to identify voids behind the lining, locating reinforcement, quantifying shot concrete depths, etc.
