SolData is a member of the French Acoustics Society
The SFA gathers French Acousticians from public research and industry. It includes researchers, teachers, engineers and companies spcialised in acoustics, such as SolData.
Its vocation is to facilitate the diffusion of any scientific and technical information as well as contacts between research laboratories and R&D centres.

Vibration measurements
SolData, the real-time monitoring specialist, has developed GORGON, an innovative acoustic-seismic measurement software:
Gorgon
Gorgon responds to all measurement configurations, including those of French and European standards:
- Real-time vibration: particular speed monitoring related to blasting or worksite activity,
- Event detection such as a quarry collapse or falling rocks in a landslide.
- Acoustic monitoring: real-time sound level mapping
- Sound and vibration analysis: map analyse and conception
Amongst our references
Smithsonian Institute, USA: Real-time monitoring of the worksite vibrations and their effect on the fragile museum’s structures (dinosaur skeletons)
Hermitage Hotel, Monaco: monitoring of the vibrations caused by blasting on a prestigious hotel in Monaco.
French National Library: Analysis of the vibrations in the library auditorium spring box.
Balzac Museum: Detection of falling rocks in the cavities located under the museum in Paris.

Areas of experience
Acoustics and vibration
Vibration measurement and remote monitoring are important and well-trodden activities in SolData experience. These measurements include the supply, installation and operation of measurement systems which meet all regulatory requirements in the field of vibration monitoring:
- Monitoring of particular speeds generated by works, sheet piling, vibrodriving, drills, etc.
- Blast monitoring
- Dynamic measurement (deflections, specific studies)
- Internal building acoustics/vibration or dam geophones, automatic alert networks
Since 2003, in association with Brüel & Kjaer, SolData has developed acoustic measurement networks intended for the best acoustic engineering companies or directly for clients.
Acoustic measurements of Budapest are part of our recent references
- Noise monitoring in Budapest on 150 measurement points during 5 years.
- Weekly manual measurements,
- Real-time measurements and visualisations of automatic measurements (5 points) on urban panels,
- Measurement acquisition network,
- Database,
- GIS visualisation software of acoustic measurements,
- 5 year maintenance and weekly measurement reports.
