Monitoring of the Térenez suspension bridge
The Térenez bridge is located between the Faou and the Crozon peninsula in the Finistère (Brittany, France).
It is a suspension bridge with a main span of 272 meters, made of masonry piles and concrete pylons.
A continuous monitoring has been implemented in the year 2000, mainly to monitor the phenomenon of concrete damage by alkali-reaction at the base of the piles.
A modernization of the monitoring system installed 6 years ago is now necessary.
The contract described in the tender files consists of:
- The study, supply and installation of the measurement instruments
- The implementation of the acquisition system and automatic alarm
- The control and maintenance of the system during 65 months.
